Archetype 1 of 8 · Vision
The Architect
Mastermind · Innovator · Creator
Creates the new: ideas, products, systems, frameworks and future possibilities.
At their best
You open new markets, products and possibilities. You make a business feel alive with what it could become.
Under pressure
You start something new instead of finishing what exists, and the team gets whiplash from changes of direction.
A move for this week
Choose one idea. Define 'done' in one sentence. Give a trusted Builder or Engineer the authority, deadline and review rhythm to finish it.
Strengths
- Visionary and full of ideas
- Inventive and willing to disrupt
- Comfortable designing from a blank page
Watch-outs
- Starts more than can be finished
- Distracted by the next idea
- Struggles with consistency and completion
Best complements
The Architect works best alongside a Builder for steady execution, and an Engineer for structure, automation and repeatability.
